Purse Organizer

I found some neat purse ideas and tutorials on the internet today at a site called Tip Junkie.  Laurie, the Tip Junkie, has a link on her site to a purse organizer tutorial at The Giving Flower.  I LOVED the purse organizer and it looked SO easy, so I decided to give it a try!  I made one for myself and one for a friend.  Click on the pics for a close up.

And here's what it looks like inside my purse:

I love this organizer!!  I think these would make great gifts- so fast and easy.  Thanks for stopping by my blog.  Have a great day!

Card Blog Stalker!

I have several creative blogs that I "stalk" on a regular basis, so I can (hopefully) soak up some of these ladies' creative talents. One of my newest favorite blogs is Cupcake's Creations, showcasing Mona Pendleton's beautiful cards and other creative work.  Recently, I saw a beautiful card at Cupcake's Creations and decided that I wanted to make a card using those same beautiful papers. I love the brown, blue, pink combination, so I purchased the Pink Paislee Sweetness collection and set out to "scrap lift" Mona's beautiful design.  Here is the beautiful card that was my inspiration:
My card ended up a little bit different than Mona's, but as you can see, Mona's card was my inspiration for this card:
I recently got a new stamp set from the new My Mind's Eye Lost and Found Two collection.  That's where my dress form and banner images are from.  Aren't they cute?!   It's hard to see, but there's a cute, little, pink, chipboard button peeking out from under the bow.

Well, that all for today!  Thanks for stopping by my blog, and if want to see some REAL creativity, stop by Cupcake's Creations!  But be prepared to stay awhile!!  :)

My Mind's Eye Blog Challenge 26

I am a HUGE fan of My Mind's Eye products!!  I love ALL of them!  I decided to join in the fun on the My Mind's Eye Blog today and make a layout for their current layout challenge.  I rarely make layouts, but using the sketch on the MME blog, this one came together fairly quickly for me.  Here's the layout sketch from the MME blog:
And here's my take on the layout sketch:
Here's a closer look.  I decided to punch holes in my scalloped border trim and hang some baubles from it.
I found this sweet doily at a rummage sale recently.  I thought it looked so pretty on my layout!
I love stick pins and couldn't resist using a few here:

Thanks so much for checking out my layout challenge entry!!  I'd love for you to leave me a comment and let me know what you think!  Have a great day!

Grateful!

I was inspired to make another card for the CR84FN35 Color Challenge.  I chose some soft, vintage papers for this card.  Celery and lavender make such a pretty color combination.  Here is my second card for the challenge:
I decided to stamp some pretty images on one half of my card.  I want to try to experiment more with my ever-growing supply of stamps!  I used glimmer mist to make a "lavender" flower.  I don't have many embellishment in the gray color family, but I found this sweet little Jenni Bowlin stick pin, and a gray pearl in my stash.
Thanks for stopping by for a visit today!  I love having visitors!  Have a great day!

Today I'm playing along with the CR84FN34 Color Challenge!  Lavender, celery, and gray make such a pretty combination, and I did my best to combine those three colors.  Here's my take on the challenge:
I had fun playing with my Tim Holtz bird cage die, and a Martha Stewart edge punch.
