Teacups and Tulips!

Well, I had so much fun making my first card for the CR84FN Color Challenge, that I decided to make another one!   You're allowed to enter the challenge more than once, so I figured, "Why not!"  Here again is the challenge:

Here is my second card entry:
Don't you love teacups and tulips?!  I tried to get a bit of a vintage feel by using the sweet vintage seed packet image and the teacup stamp.

Aren't these tulips delicate and beautiful?

Sweet Summer Days

I have a new card today that I'm entering in the CR84FN Color Challenge contest.  I love the color combo they have chosen.  They remind me of sweet summer days, picnics at the park, relaxing in the backyard while sipping lemonade.....
I'm so excited about the card I made this morning.  It came together quickly and it was just FUN to create!!  I won't be able to send it to anyone right away, because I just need to look at it for awhile! :)

Thanks so much for stopping by my blog today, and I would love for you to leave a comment!  Have a wonderful week!

Vintage Wedding Card

I hope you're all having a great weekend!  I'm trying to be a little laid-back today.  The past two months have been a bit overwhelming for me, so today I decided to just relax and rest!!  I also decided that next week, I will be focused on heart and home.  No appointments!  Just keep the week low-key and focus on what's most important.  (Now let's see if things go as planned! :)
I'm sharing a card today that I created for the Mojo Monday 190 Sketch Blog.  I tried to create an elegant card with a bit of a vintage feel to it.  Just click on the photos for a close up.
It's simple, not fancy, but I think it would be a nice wedding card.  I do like red, black, and cream together.
Thanks for stopping by today!  Have a restful weekend!

Card Challenge Entry

Happy Tuesday, everyone!  I'm excited about the card I'm sharing today!  I've been wanting to enter a card challenge/contest for some time now, and today I'm actually doing it!  I chose my colors based on The Shabby Tea Room week #60 Sweet Dreams challenge.  (Since Mother's Day is Sunday, I chose a sentiment about mothers.)  My card design is based on the Mojo Monday 189 contest.  This was a fun challenge, and I love how my card turned out!  I would love for you to leave me a comment and let me know what you think!

I used Little Yellow Bicycle Freshprint Clothesline papers, a Martha Steward doily tag and border punch, and Pink Paislee Licorice artisan tape (to make the banner tag).  I found that cute little butterfly in my stash.  Thanks so much for stopping by today!
