Grateful!

I was inspired to make another card for the CR84FN35 Color Challenge.  I chose some soft, vintage papers for this card.  Celery and lavender make such a pretty color combination.  Here is my second card for the challenge:
I decided to stamp some pretty images on one half of my card.  I want to try to experiment more with my ever-growing supply of stamps!  I used glimmer mist to make a "lavender" flower.  I don't have many embellishment in the gray color family, but I found this sweet little Jenni Bowlin stick pin, and a gray pearl in my stash.
Thanks for stopping by for a visit today!  I love having visitors!  Have a great day!

I had fun playing with my Tim Holtz bird cage die, and a Martha Stewart edge punch.
I used glimmer mist to turn the bird and one of these flowers lavender.  I love the glitter on them.  Thanks for stopping by my blog today!!  It's fun to have visitors!

Love is in the Air

I tend to wait until the last minute to buy gifts and make cards for birthdays and weddings.  I know I should work way ahead on these things, but....what can I say?!  Anyway, I "threw" this wedding card together rather quickly for the wedding of a very sweet couple this afternoon.  (Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Matt Weber!!)  Not much time to play with embellishments, so it's rather simple, but I still like it.
Thanks for stopping by today!!  Have a great weekend!

Supplies:
Red Patterned Paper: DCWV
Floral Paper: Webster's Pages

Vintage Wedding Card

I hope you're all having a great weekend!  I'm trying to be a little laid-back today.  The past two months have been a bit overwhelming for me, so today I decided to just relax and rest!!  I also decided that next week, I will be focused on heart and home.  No appointments!  Just keep the week low-key and focus on what's most important.  (Now let's see if things go as planned! :)
I'm sharing a card today that I created for the Mojo Monday 190 Sketch Blog.  I tried to create an elegant card with a bit of a vintage feel to it.  Just click on the photos for a close up.
It's simple, not fancy, but I think it would be a nice wedding card.  I do like red, black, and cream together.
Thanks for stopping by today!  Have a restful weekend!
